The MCI Muscat Auction is an electronic platform for the purpose of holding public auctions on real estate, in which the sale process takes place by bidding on the price by buyers online, and the properties are inspected at the display sites of government and private institutions. The site seeks to provide the largest possible segment of society with the opportunity to benefit from auctions by removing all restrictions, obstacles and barriers that would prevent buyers from attending auctions, in addition to reducing the cost of holding auctions for institutions. The website is managed by Muscat International City Company, an Omani company headquartered in the Sultanate of Oman.
